The Ambu Way
At Ambu, sustainability considerations are an integral part of our business activities. For instance, the way we work with the environment is guided by a number of ambitious sustainability targets and continuously monitored environmental and climate indicators. Moreover, we review our suppliers and their products with regard to environmental and social aspects during the total life-cycle of the products.
Ambu has set a number of ambitious sustainability targets that will guide and drive our environmental and social activities and performance in the coming years. These will contribute to guide our work on sustainability and help us assess our own performance.
Our sustainability targets are:

95% of new products released after 2025 to be PVC-free
100% recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging applied by 2025*
Work towards reducing our carbon emissions by 50% by 2025 compared to 2019 baseline
40% female managers in 2023 (managers meaning employees with HR responsibilities)
